Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Larissa - the person behind Status: Thrive.

When I moved to Sydney in 2023, I remember feeling excited and anxious simultaneously. I was navigating a lot of change that naturally arises in your late 20s (for my astrology people - I was going through my Saturn Return). Without thinking twice, for the very first time I randomly typed into YouTube: "Breathwork for beginners" and clicked the first video that appeared. I breathed through all the tingles and discomfort my body brought up, and came out the other side with vivid images and messages I didn't expect. I remember lying there afterwards, just asking myself: what was that? who was sending me those messages? Messaging such as 'you're on the right path... greatness is around the corner... you don't need to have anything figured out...'

As time passed, it became clear that it was simply me. My soul, guiding me toward (what I now know is) my purpose. Reassuring me.

I went looking for people who understood the experience, but I couldn't find them. I joined breathwork classes, hoping to go deeper, but never quite reached the place I knew was possible. What I really wanted was someone to coach me through it; to hold space, ask the right questions, and guide me somewhere my mind couldn't reach on its own.

That person didn't exist in the way I needed.

So I decided to become her.

Here's something I notice all the time: the moment "what's your purpose?" comes up in conversation, there's an immediate flicker of nerves. An avoidance of wanting to go there. I think that's because we've been taught that purpose has to be some big, legacy-leaving thing. It doesn't. Purpose can be the simple rituals in your daily life that bring you joy.

I believe purpose isn't something you have to chase or figure out through sheer willpower. It's already in you, sometimes just buried under noise or everyone else's idea of what your life should look like. I've built this business the way I mean to live: intentionally, honestly, and without the pressure to have it all figured out.

If you're someone who already knows, deep down, what you want but hasn't given yourself permission to live it yet... I'd love to help you get there.
